Allan Sherer
Allan Sherer brings more than four decades of global experience serving underserved communities across nearly every continent. He has lived and worked in challenging environments, leading development and ministry initiatives in countries including Ethiopia, Belarus, Colombia, and India, as well as throughout the United States.
Much of Allan’s work focuses on communities often considered “hopeless.” Through partnerships with visionary local leaders, he has seen how creativity, innovation, and determination—grounded in the hope of the gospel—can produce lasting change. His experience includes placing more than 1,000,000 Bibles across Ethiopia, establishing a national leadership training network serving over 20,000 leaders, developing sustainable business and community development initiatives, and creating technology solutions to improve access to clean water among marginalized populations in India.
Allan currently serves as Director of Global Connections at North Hills Church in Taylors, South Carolina. With over 15 years in pastoral and outreach leadership, he is recognized nationally for his commitment to underserved communities and educational access for low-income students.
